A detached cottage style pub, with low-level extension. It has a bench over the road, which acts as a patio and viewing platform for the industrial area. The pub is in white render. The interior has two rooms, the main being a bar/dining area in brown and white, the other more a family room in white. The bar has a pool table and a couple of TVs tuned to a music channel. The place does Indian food and i did eat here - the food was very nice. The service was really friendly and the place busy with a cosmopolitan clientele - both eating and just drinking. Beer; no real ale, usual taps with Banks's MILD. I had a shandy. A vibrant place, and i really enjoyed my stop-off. I would certainly go back to eat - just wish they would get a real ale in!
