I have not yet returned after its refurbishment but I am giving this pub 10 out of 10 as it as held dear family memories for 35 years , It was my fathers regular who sadly is now passed away . He loved this pub with all his heart and visited his friends here on a weekly basis , It was so different back then but it was and I am sure still is a lovley pub and Im sure still has its kind friendly atmosphere that it held many years ago . I am sure this is still alive today and have recieved a personal e mail invertation to return for a drink and pop to see how it is now . I am looking forward to this and shall be visiting the pub this September . There are still a lot of its old regulars there I believe who remember my father and the immpression I get it is a warm friendly place just as it was back then and for a pub to move with the times but to still maintain its character and warmth and friendly bond with its regulars is fantastic and pleases me greatly and I know this pub will be there in 35 years time even if im not lol being 45 now it will probablly outlive me, WELL DONE TO THE NEW MANAGERS , It use to be THE TALBOT ARMS back then and held its historical links with the talbot family of Aston were I grew up and were we came from . WELL DONE for keeping this pubs spitit alive ,,
A OLD REGULAR
