Excellent traditional, unspoilt multi roomed local with 7 cask beers plus a cask cider and a couple of craft ales on tap at the far end of the bar.Cannot add much to the well described review by Ale Monster but was quite impressed with the stained glass the wooded floorboards and the large area at the rear which includes a bowling green.

Five handpumps in operation on our visit, so we went for the Three Tuns XXX which was a fine choice. The front room and bar was very busy on our visit so we opted for the rear lounge. This room had a lot of charm, with the William Morris design wallpaper, leaded stained glass bay window and a coal fire. There is also an outside bar and bowling green at the rear.

Fine tardis like local, very spartan, wood foor, basic interior but with Sky TV, its a bit of a marmite pub, but I like it, love the back smoke room, altogether a fine place for beer drinking.
Bowming green at the rear.
7 real ales, though they are a little safe, but the quality was very good. Would be a 9 if a little extra thought went into the beer choice
