Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Poets Corner
Large estate pub, set perpendicular to the street, and obvious as such although all the exterior signage has vanished as such for some reason. Once inside, you find three rooms arranged in an overall 'L'-shape, with a central bar, a pool / darts room nearest the road and a lounge (with another pool table) to the rear. There is also a small side patio and a bigger rear beer garden. No real ale, unfortunately, but I consoled myself with the keg M&B Mild (just £2.20) while watching the busy poker game set up on a bespoke table opposite the servery.

A detached 60s styled estate pub in white with a big cross of St George on the front.
The interior had a couple of rooms that i saw - a bar room and a function room (nobody in on my visit), both with pool tables and large screen TVs and both in white and wood panel. The bar had the football on. The room is partitioned with what seemed like a DJ music set up in the partitioned part. There is a stone tile floor and white ceiling - the place looks like it has had a spruce up in the last 12 months, especially as there are now sofas for seating. There was little in the way of pictures or interesting ephemera, just Sky football posters. The service was friendly, the clientele a few locals.
Beer; all tap stuff - i had a shandy.
No real ale, so i wouldn't bother again.

I have not been inside but even on fairly bright February morning the building exudes all the style and warmth of a 1960's East German border post.
BUT, it is still open.
