In what looks from the outside to be an ex-residential property, the Windsor Castle has a front bar area that includes a pool table and dartboard as well as some seating. A U-shaped bar counter towards the rear supports premium keg alongside Carling. Televisions throughout were airing Wimbledon Tennis via BBC, satellite sports were also advertised. At the rear is an Indian restaurant that was half full, so it was more popular than the bar. This place is better than the outside suggests, but I still don’t plan on revisiting.

This is a detached freehouse pub and eatery - self-styled 'Bar, Restaurante [Spanish?] & Banqueting Hall'. The building is in white, now a little grubby, with a short section of undressed brick, and with an old building adjacent that is bricked-up (now part of the pub), the place looks both unappealing and somewhat uninviting. There is one long room inside. You enter a lower-level, which has a couple of dart boards, a bar footy game (neglected in the corner) and a TV (news on). It is in white and coffee, with red seats and carpet, which look a tad tired. The rest of the place is up a few steps. Here there are two pool tables and another dart board, along with booth areas to sit. It is in the same decor, but has a wood floor. At the back there is a kitchen and dining area, but i didn't see a menu and didn't eat. More TV's are around. The service was fine and there was nobody in. There is nothing in the way of pictures on the walls, but there are some England flags, Diamond Jubilee UJ's and a couple of Baggies items around. Beer; no real ale, but a decent stock of tap stuff, including Banks's MILD - i just had a shandy. The place does look a bit neglected, nothing for the real ale fan
