The Cricketers Arms is a large open plan pub and restaurant with an island bar at the front that supports standard and premium keg. Banquettes run under the front windows and up the right to the large dining area at the rear that is faced by the kitchen serving hatch in the rear wall. Televisions around the bar were airing muted Sky Sports News whilst background music was supplied by a radio station. I found the service to be polite and would pop back in passing.

Very disappointed!
After visiting the cricketers for the first time in 18months I was disappointed with the change.
They have cellotaped the new menu over the old old one. YoU can see the old menu under the new one and see that you are bieng charged extra???
No adequate explanation for this. No friendly atmosphere, customer service was non existent.
The bar seemed buzzing with a good vibe.
All in all would never eat there. But would enjoy a beer in the bar

Good news folks , the cricketers arms is under new management, higher quality service and lots more to come , food is better so come and try us out .
