Quite large building, probably dating from the 1920'2/30s, you enter through the large bare boarded bay and there is a smaller carpeted lounge area to one end.
Real wood fire burning away it is very friendly and welcoming and the sort of pub you would want as your local.
4 real ales on, quality very good but probably not quite as good as the nearby Leathern Bottle.

A detached brick build, with half white rendered facade and modern etched windows
The interior is open plan and is in brown and a light chocolate colour (the frothy bit!), with some red and yellow walls in the side area. There is a a nice wood bar, with some nice fireplaces, a large TV and some West Bromwich Albion memorabilia. The service was fine, the clientele more mature.
Beer; tap stuff, with Teakston's MILD, Courage Directors and an excellent Adnams Old Ale on handpull.
The third of the Wednesbury GBG pubs and another great place, worthy of a visit anytime.
