I am very sad to have to report that the pub was demolished on Thursday 18th November 2010.
It was one of the oldest buildings in Darlaston and Walsall councillors should have tried to do something to put it to some use. Sadly this month they were too busy trying to push through the rise in their allowances.

Sadly "The Hole" as it is known (from its location nothing else)is closed and boarded up. The carpark has become a fly-tippers heaven.
Very sad to see the old place.
Before the advent of the railway the pub was known as The James Bridge Tavern.
