A 1960s looking large house type of detached brick building, with blue and white paintwork. There is a beer patio, with part of the building now seemingly given over to the Aldridge Balti - though this isnt incorporated into the pub, there is a set of sliding wood doors in the lounge that must once accessed these premises.
The interior has a separate bar and lounge. The bar has a pool table annex and a dart area. The decor is white and cream, with white ceiling. There are several TVs around showing everything from The Simpsons, to silent footy and ceefax racing. There are ole photos on the walls and leather perimeter seating. Background music was a bit loud and charty, the service ok and clientele mixed. The lounge was in white with some wood panel and a bar in pine.
Beer; all tap stuff, with a decent enough Highgate MILD
A basic place really for beer - does have the entertainment though; pool, TV and darts, so if that's what you want its fine - but as a beer lover, the Lazy Hill is the better option.
