Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Talbot
Very much a dining pub, and quite full on a Friday lunchtime (with other reservations to come), but they found me a spot at a table near the bar. Partly opened-out to leave several interconnected rooms in an overall L shape, all refurbished in a restrained semi-modern style. Three cask beers on handpump: a 'house' Pale Ale (4.2%, and from Burton, so almost certainly Marston's) and a more local pair from Wye Valley - HPA (£4.50) and Butty Bach.
