The station has been a One stop store for a few years now and will never return as a pub. I used it a few times when it was a Wetherspoons and it was OK but nothing special.

For a brief period, this pub was operated as part of the Wetherspoon's chain, but neither that Plc nor the last licensee seemingly could make a go of it. The pub stands at the railway junction, where decades ago the eponymous station was also situated. It is now 400m down the track!
The previous sign has got to be one of the most amateurish / childish signs ever for a pub!
