Strongers . left this review about The Plough Inn

I popped into the Plough on a recent Friday evening when there were five or so other customers being served by two young and clueless barmen. Two of the eight hand pumps were on drawing Wye Valley’s HPA and Butty Bach, a standard and premium keg range was also available. There are two bars, the front bar has seating under the front and right-hand windows and the rear bar, served by a hatch, has more seating and a dartboard. For some reason they chose to blast out love ballads at an excessive volume, no wonder the pub was almost empty when its peers were doing good trade. I didn’t rate this pub so I don’t plan on returning.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Plough Inn

Traditional pub retaining the main bar / dining area along the frontage and a separate lounge to the rear of the counter. Both parts are comfortably furnished with traditional decoration. Various events advertised, such as a recent beer festival. With five of the eight handpumps in use on a Wednesday evening, I found Black Sheep, a pair from Wye Valley - HPA and Butty Bach - Enville Ale (£3.80) and XXX from Three Tuns.

Real Ale Ray left this review about The Plough

A large splendid looking red brick building which became a licensed premises in 1861. Its changing beers are marked by the engraved windows. The name Pearson's, Entire, bass and more recent Enville can be observed.
We found this pub to be very comfortable and had a nice relaxed atmosphere. There were 8 handpumps all of which were in use on this visit. We went for the Hobson's Town Crier, which was in great shape.
