Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Lawnswood
Large detached pub / restaurant beside a local shopping parade west of the town centre. Various seating / dining areas around the L-shaped servery, all refurbished in a slightly anonymous semi-traditional way, with a pool table at the far end. Doom Bar, Hobgoblin, a pair of Goffs beers - White Knight and a surprisingly good Cheltenham Gold (£4.20) - and a couple of Lilley's ciders available from the six handpumps.

Typical pub cum food outlet, nothing bad but nothing brilliant. Does have some real ale on handpull
