Another cracking Black Country Ales pub. Great choice of ales with the 3 regulars and half a dozen guests. I went for Stonehenge Sign Of Spring - I had been wanting to try this as it is bright green! Don't let the colour put you off, it was a nice pint.
The pub was quite busy with plenty locals in. The usual excellent cobs on offer. Well worth a visit.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Cross Inn
Excellent Black Country Ales pub, just off the main route through the village, but well worth seeking out (as the local Camra awards attest). The refurbished 'L'-shaped interior retains a traditional character, as you would expect, and the place has a good community atmosphere. With a total of 12 handpumps on different parts of the counter, there were three of the owning brewery's own beers, three guest ales (including the local 2 Step from Brothers of Ale in Stourport, £3.50), three draught ciders and Doom Bar. Cobs and pork pies also available for the peckish.

Black Country Ales Pub - those that know them, will know exactly what they are going to get..... their usual real ales (Fireside, Pig, Hole in the Wall) and a chalk notice board of one-offs that can come from anywhere in the country. Its probably about 50-50 on whether I have heard of the brewery or not.
Traditional pubs - done well - and a winning formula. They go from strength to strength. Just heard they have resurrected the Seven Stars at Stourbridge Junction, which is a lovely pub.
