We waited for this pub to open at 4pm in anticipation of not seeing anymore TT Landlord or Doombore, which seems to dominate this town. The interior has two rooms either side of the entrance and the bar area is positioned along the back. The interior has lots of black painted beams, blue carpets and bright red button back banquette seating. It's a good pub to relax over a beer or get into a conversation with some like minded customers.
Five pumps with four on, Church End Gravediggers and Goats Milk, Bathams Bitter and Butty Bach. Prices were £4.50 a pint.

GBG Stalwart for a few years and the best beer in Henley - a town that I find flatters to deceive on the pub scene.
Goats Milk from Church End Brewery was in fantastic condition. Possibly a bit of the steep side at £4.50. Others were from the Sharps range.
Comfortable red leather seating in the bay window. Some tables outside.

Probably the best of Henley-in-Arden's pubs, this one is the only one currently in the Good Beer Guide.
The pub is split into two separate sections of roughly equal size, with the bar joining the two sections at the rear. On our midweek visit, there were a handful of locals stood at the bar chatting, with all tables and seats available.
There are 5 real ales in total. Regular beers are Goat's Milk, Doom Bar, Butty Bach & London Pride. The guest beer was Solar Wave.
