This pub is split into a dining area on the right and the bar area on the left. Just be careful not to wander into the dining area by mistake with your beer, as you are ushered out fairly fast. I only wanted to look at all the original 17th Century beams, when I heard a stern voice say 'You can't sit in there it's a restaurant'.
The bar side is comfortable enough with an open fire and original flagstone floor around the bar area. Some screens have been added down the left hand side to create some privacy whilst even more dining goes on. All the woodwork was painted in a dark blue and it was a bit trendy with some mirrors and ornaments. The landlady was a bit cross looking and the daughter couldn't be arsed. Another pedestrian line up of beers TT Landlord, Doombore, Butty Bach and St Austell Proper Job. The latter was ok but also served too cold.

OK Nags Head - better than the ones with Swan in the title. Four handpulls with landlord and doom bar turned around. This left Proper Job and one forgotton. Proper Job in average condition and far too cold.
Setup mainly for dining but with some TV screens.

Another solid pub in Henley. 5 ales on - Speckled Hen, Doom Bar, London Pride, Proper Job and Tribute. we went for the 2 from St Austell which were fine. Well worth a visit.
