I was quite surprised how large the lounge and bar area was in here, which soon filled up as an endless footfall of young women landed in the lounge area, for what looked like to be a friend's birthday party. The group of lads watching the World Cup on the big screen, soon lost interest when the totty started standing in front of the screen. Luckily enough we got served before the bar got mobbed. I went for the Silhill Blonde Star, which was a very good pint, premium prices as expected in a Hotel at £4.30 a pint. The décor in the main lounge was finished in grey and the bar area was in oak, with the back bar finished in rustic rough cut pine.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Greswolde Arms Hotel

Imposing former coaching inn, still operating as a hotel as well as being a Chef & Brewer pub / restaurant. Thoroughly refurbished inside, with the furniture and decor verging on the modern rather than the traditional. For the better weather, there is a side patio beer garden of a reasonable size. Three real ales on handpump: IPA and Abbot from Greene King plus the local Silhill Blonde Star (curiously priced at £3.67) as a guest.

Upmarket kind of place. A couple of standard ales but there is a selection of bottled craft ales and also Brewdog Punk IPA on draught. Not cheap but a great beer!
