A strange mish-mash of design to this detached corner pub and eatery. It has several extensions and may have been refronted at some time, but its white render now looks a little tired.
The interior has several areas. You enter into a small bar area with pool and a punchbag machine and a TV (not on at my visit). You then go up the steps to find the serving bar on the right. This room is a partioned room consisting of a conservatory area, an L-shaped lounge room with a bar-footy game and dart board and a TV, which had the cricket on and an integral Indian restuarant that seemed to do a good range and reasonably priced curries - the smell of which pervades the rest of the pub, sadly. The decor is white and red, with a white atexy ceiling and beams, along with a laminate floor. There was no music and the service was functional at best. There were no real pictures and a small local clientele.
Beer; no real ale, keg stuff with a decent M&B MILD
Nothing for the real ale fan and one probably best left to the locals, but i could be tempted by a curry and a M&B MILD here.
