Black Country Ales pub and probably the one closest to their brewery which is located on a trading estate nearby. It has the typical BCA interior with carpet and flock wallpaper. There are TVs which were off. Dance/pop music was playing instead. Given this was a mostly elderly set of customers, I'm not sure the music choice was the best. There is a dartboard and a fruit machine. Dominoes were being played at one table and the usual black and white pictures of the local area could be found on the walls.
The 3 regular cask ales from BCA are BFG, Fireside & Chain Ale. In addition, they also had their Citra Sublime & Jubilee IPA. Guest beers were Adnams Double Ghost IPA, Froth Blowers Hornswoggle, Mallinson's Columbus & Monty's Sunshine & Mischief. Ciders were Weston's Rosie's Pig Rhubarb & Gwynt y Ddraig Black Dragon.
Snacks are by way of cobs, sausage rolls, pork pies and samosas. They always seem to be popular. The cobs in particular, are quite generous. A decent pub which could well be the best in the Kingswinford area.
Dogs are allowed in and I believe kids are too but there was no sign of either. There is a large outdoor patio to the rear.

Another great conversion from one of my favourite pub chains. A complete transformation from the tired Bridge I used to know. A roaring open fire and a friendly welcome is always a good start. Add to that a choice of 10 ales, 2 ciders and a mountain of cobs and you have just about nailed it for me! I went for the BCA Citra Sublime which was excellent. The place was very busy and so it should be. My only regret is that I had to move on somewhere else!

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Bridge
Now a Black Country Ales house, so a very welcome addition to the area (and doing excellent business on a Thursday evening). The various seating areas have been fully refurbished in this mini-chain's usual comfortable, semi-traditional style, with one part having a functioning real fire. As expected, an excellent choice of cask ales (with three from the owning brewery and seven guests) in a variety of styles, plus a pair of draught ciders. After some consideration, I opted for the green-hopped Limelight from Welbeck (£3.55) and this proved an excellent choice.
