Probably the nearest pub to Halesowen Town Football Club, the King Edward VII has a reasonably large front room and a smaller lounge to the rear, where the Aston Villa Europa League game was being shown on our Thursday evening visit and where a rather large dog was after lots of fuss!

Holden's Golden Glow is the regular beer. Guests were Salopian Darwin's Origin, Oakham Citra, Three Tuns XXX, Wye Valley HPA & Butty Bach, Enville Ginger. Ciders were Lilley's Peach Cider, Mango Cider and Cherries & Berries & Abrahall's Thundering Molly.

As with Quinno, I also had the Enville Ginger. It sounds like I got a better conditioned beer. Overall, a comfortable and friendly local that I'd be happy to visit again especially in conjunction with the excellent Waggon & Horses, which is just down the road.

Nick nacks a plenty in a comfortable front room of a traditional boozer.

Covid screens still hanging over the bar.

Oakham Citra in decent enough condition.

No other punters in the front and a couple of old boys could be heard propping up the bar in the back.

ttractive traditional pub located by the Halesowen footy ground. Really nice interior, plush and comfortable with curtains, plentiful breweriana, hung plates and a general “nan’s lounge” feel. Spotlessly clean. A good selection of cask on, I went for the Enville Ginger which hadn’t shifted for a little while but was decent (NBSS 3 - just). Barmaid was good value. I really liked this one, though the cask felt just slightly below standard for a genuinely top mark. It’s GBG’23 listed. 8.5
