Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Black Horse
Probably quite an old main-road pub, given the relatively low ceiling inside, but now in quite an awkward spot to reach as it is on the far side of the dual carriageway from the housing estates (although the west-bound number 9 bus stops nearby). The interior has been partly opened out and refurbished in a traditional way to leave three seating / dining areas around the central servery. Disappointingly, just Purity Mad Goose (£3.30) available from the three handpumps.

Has the look of a food chain pub from the outside, but I was pleasently surprised inside that it had a bit of character and interest. Brown/cream walls with wood seating and tables, piped music at an ok setting but not run of the mill and the draft real ale was a choice of Kinver Light Railway or Sadlers.
On a busy dual carriageway just off the M5.
nice feel about the place.
