A detached 50s/60s looking estate pub with patio area. It is in undressed brick, with a cream rendered lower facade and an upper story in white wood plank effect.
The interior is in effect a U-shaped room around the central serving bar. The pub is in a mix of cream, wood panel, red and white walls, with a white ceiling, but the front part of the room seems to be more like a bar area, as this has a wood floor, while the other areas have carpet. Much of the furniture is green and there are a couple of brick fireplaces. A few bits of ephemera decorate the walls, like pictures and mirrors. It has a slight 80s feel, but isn't twee. There is a pool table and a dart board, along with a few TVs, which were showing motor racing at my visit. There was no music. The service was OK and the clientele seemed to be locals from the estate - it felt comfy.
Beer; no real ale, all keg stuff, with the usual beers a reasonable Banks's MILD.
A nice enough estate pub, on a personal note it sadly just lacks the real ale, as it has the pub games. I was happy to have visited for one.

tidy little pub, in the middle of an estate, opposite the dry dock.
