Surprise of the day and Sedgley is spoilt with good (and Good Beer Guide) boozers.

I was unaware that this was in the 2026 edition of the bible, but I fully concur with the choice.

A bit of an ugly duckling outside, I didnt bother taking a a photo - mainly as I couldn't get a decent enough angle.

Inside, its low ceilings, an old fireplace and sports on the TV Screen. All one room (i think) but you can have a mooch around a bit of a congested and irregular space.

Four cask was on - mainly run of the mill beers from Wye Valley and Hobsons - but I have to say my Town Crier completely exceeded my expectation of a pub that had only three punters.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Swan Inn

Traditional-looking pub located opposite the church, although the irregular layout of several small seating areas has been given a slightly modern but rather dull refurbishment. I found Hobson's Town Crier (£3.80), a pair of Wye Valley beers (HPA and Butty Bach) Oakham Citra and Church End's Fallen Angel on two banks of three handpumps.

Decent back street local just off the main island. Cricket on the TV.
4 ales on - Church End Fallen Angel, Oakham Citra, Butty Bach and Hobson's Town Crier. I went for the Fallen Angel which was excellent.
Well worth a visit.
