The Cottage of Content was quite a nice looking pub from the outside.
Once inside the pub had a couple of rooms that i noticed,there was a smartish lounge and a more basic bar,i had a drink in the bar and i was happy enough in here.
When i visited this pub it was a Mitchells & Butler tied house,there was one real ale on the bar this was M&B mild which was a very nice drink to start my Gornal crawl on.
I quite liked this pub and it is a great shame that it has now closed down.
