This is a Toby Carvery, so no real difference to every other Toby Carvery. The bar is located on the rear wall to the right of the entrance, I’ve noted that only standard keg was available, but I may have missed the hand pumps if they are still there. To the left is a large dining area and to the right of the bar is a smaller seating area. The toilets are located upstairs. Picnic tables are found around the outside of the pub and the music from inside is piped out. This pub is adjacent to a Premier Inn so they share a large car park. I’d eat here, but I’ll not be returning just for a beer.

If you like a carvery, you can do a lot worse. Beer wise, there were three hand pulls at the bar. Doom Bar was on, and it looked like Wainwright was undergoing line cleaning. They do a couple of Brewdog bottles and the likes of Peroni, Desperados, etc. Not really much of a drinkers' pub and the real ale selection reflected this. Pleasant and attentive service on the food side, and you pay at the end and get table service for drinks, unlike some other carvery chains (*cough* Farmhouse Inns *cough*) where you have to keep going back to the till to order your next course or extra drinks.
