Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Red Lion Inn
Upmarket country dining pub with some general seating on three sides of the central bar counter, but the larger parts occupied by those eating. Also has a large (if surprisingly plain) beer garden on the left-hand side. Disappointingly, none of the three handpumps were serving real ale; and on enquiry, all I got was a load of flannel about "we've sold out yesterday", "the brewery only sends us one cask of Doom Bar each week, but sometimes we get something else", "only some of the staff know how to change a barrel", etc. Made do with a slightly grumpy Beavertown Neck Oil (£6.30) before moving on.
