Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Railway Inn
Of course, handy for station named after Berkswell (a village some distance away), but very much a traditional boozer unlike the other four food-led pubs in Balsall Common. The lounge area is located to the right of the central counter, with the 'L'-shaped branch to the left housing the busy pool table and a limited amount of extra seating. Bass (£3.70, and in excellent shape), Landlord, Purity Pure UBU and the seasonal Swing Low from Fuller's available from the four handpumps when I visited.

The Railway Tavern is situated very close to Berkswell train station.
Once inside there is and L shaped room with the bar facing, the room has comfy bench seating and chairs and is carpeted, there was a TV to the rear left showing the grand prix practice rounds.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Taylor Landlord which was a decent drink, the other beer was Bass.
This is a decent and lively pub to have a drink in.

What a splendid place to have a pint and chat with your mates! I visit this establishment on occasion and always leave with a hearty smile and a feeling of contented well being. The service is second to none and it caters for many kinds of customer. It's well worth a visit. The punters are also a good laugh!
