Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Hickory's
Aiming for a Deep South smokehouse vibe (with some Americana as decoration), I don't really know whether it succeeds, but it was certainly doing good business on a Wednesday evening. Obviously mostly a restaurant, but the various dining areas are supplemented by a general seating space around the bar counter. Also has a partly covered patio to the left of the entrance. One seemingly disused handpump, but the 'house' Pale Ale comes from Purity and Driftaway Tropical IPA (£5.50) is brewed by Mobberley Brewhouse so added a bit more interest to the otherwise standard keg offerings.

A carvery/grill pub .Good modern interior with separate dining area. Two real ales on tap, Directors and Bombadier, which was in good condition.
