Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Varsity
I didn't realise this brand was still going, but this pub's location right by Warwick University (actually on the southern outskirts of Coventry) certainly makes sense. It's also a fairly standard pub / restaurant with multiple seating and dining areas (plus a beer garden at the front), rather than being a student dive, although most of the staff and customers were obviously studying nearby. Another surprise was to not only see four of the five handpumps in use, but also to find the local Bard's Best from Shakespeare Brewing (£4.70), Robinson's Dizzy Blonde, Oakham Citra and the 8.4% Gladiator cider from Lilley's being served.
