The Triumph Bar was open this time, and Marco Pierre White has replaced Gordon Ramsey in the other bit, though we didn't find out where that is. At any rate, the Triumph Bar is a 'popular daytime venue' according to the website, so popular that we tripled the attendance on a Wednesday afternoon, the other punter was outside on the terrace. It's a bar in a business hotel, fine for what it is, and disabled facilities all present and correct.

Just eurofizz, attractively served, and not as dear as you might expect.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Manor Hotel

Large Best Western hotel seemingly with two bars: the Triumph (which wasn't open when I stopped by) and one beside the Gordon Ramsey Grill (replete with a photograph of the eponymous chef with a worrying look and a meat cleaver...). All anonymous modern furniture inside, of course, but there were a few people out on the front terrace beer garden enjoying the warm evening. Unsurprisingly, there is no real ale here, so went for the keg Atlantic pale ale (£4.70).
