Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Horse & Jockey Inn

Quite an imposing country pub in the Tudorbethan style, set back slightly from a busy 'B' road. Limited seating around the central bar counter, but more in a room off to the right, and a more formal dining room on the left-hand side. The interior has been quite smartly refurbished, but the rear beer garden is surprisingly plain (apart from a modern pod that looks like a diving capsule). With a pair of handpumps on the counter, I found Abbot (£4.50) on one and a reversed Landlord clip on the other. A couple of other observations: 1) The sign messages at the front vary from "Always a warm welcome" to "Not a turning circle for wagons!"; and 2) It appears to be a biker-friendly establishment.
