Strongers . left this review about Coventry Cross

The Coventry Cross is a thin split level Craft Union boozer with a threadbare tartan carpet in a front seating area before steps that lead down to the bar area where the counter with standard and premium keg runs up the right facing high tables and two large projector screens to the left. There are actually televisions throughout for airing all things sport, especially football, Coventry City is well represented with flags across the ceiling, and other such tat. At the rear is a sunken pool room where the background music seemed the loudest. A typical CU pub, great if you like that sort of thing.

Pretty basic locals pub with no real ale. Had a quick Coors and moved on. Nothing to entice me back really!

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Coventry Cross

Elongated pub with several different seating areas on slightly different levels, with the bar in the middle and a pool table at the back, all hidden away behind quite an attractive narrow frontage. Unfortunately, the interior has been refurbished in an unsympathetic light modern style with no residual character. There is also nothing of interest on the beer front either, so it was a quick John Smith's Extra Cold (£1.00, half) and then I was off...
