Phoenix is a student bar with a pool table and screens that show Sky Sports. There’s a student club with another bar upstairs. Premium and craft keg were both available alongside Carling. There was hardly anyone here during a recent Monday evening visit, but the music was still cranked up. Not aimed at me so no need to return.

Corner pub with a number of TV screens showing different sports, such as tennis and rugby during our visit. The 5 craft beers all come from Anarchy - Sublime Chaos, Skin Deep, This Way Up, Dance In The Desert & Cult Leader. Lilley's Mango Cider & Bee Sting Perry were also on draught, alongside some more mainstream keg products.
The female bar staff and male owner were all friendly, but I can't say I was overly impressed with this place on what was my first visit yesterday.

No real ale or real cider after hand pumps removed in the summer of 2021, according to WhatPub. Consequently no longer offering a discount to Camra members.
