The Blue Ball looked like a 50s built pub that was situated on the corner of a very busy road junction, the road layout has since altered since my visit here years ago.
Once inside there was a large bar to the front which was quite smart with comfy bench seating and a pool table, there was a larger lounge to the rear which was carpeted, there were meals being served in this room.
The pub was an Hansons tied house, there were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Hansons Mild which was decent enough, the other beer was Banks's bitter.
This pub was ok for a quick drink.
