Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Station Bar (Comfort Inn)

Although part of the Comfort Inn hotel, this bar its own entrance for the general public. The irregularly shaped, slightly split-level interior has been given a light, but quite stark, makeover at some stage. No real to be found here either, with Worthington's (£3.60) being the best of a bad lot.

Not the best but it isn't too bad. No real ale that I could see. Had some bitter called Brew Xl.

Still rather unwelcoming due to its position below New Street Station is currently a 2 bar outlet for refreshing the construction workers on the adjoing station. Large screen TVs. The roadworks make this a pretty unhospitable place to get to, but things may change with the opening of the John Lewis store & Spanish Steps to the station in September 2015.
