Called in early on a Friday evening as I was passing to find the place quite busy. The food looked and smelt good. Very friendly service. They still have the keg Banks's but I had a quick Coors. I'd call in again for a meal but a bit out of my way just for a beer.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Island Inn

Formerly the Quinton Bar & Grill, this place now has plain (and rather uninviting) grey exterior paintwork and dull signage. Inside, there are four distinct seating / dining areas around the bar plus a restaurant room at the back, all refurbished in a semi-modern style. The mostly Indian menu offers good value, but the music was way above background level. No real ale, unfortunately, but at the keg Banks's Mild at only £2.00 was a consolation.
