I lived near the Bromford estate for over 20 years. This pub has been closed for years - it will never come back, as the estate has a notorious reputation. I thought I had closed it on PG already, but I did pop over to take a look tonight, just to make sure. I remember that it was raided by the police last year, as cannabis plants were being grown in it! The estate was built in 1967, on the site of the former racecourse - hence the name.

The Racecourse pub, I believe this was formerly called The Guineas near the site of the long since gone Racecourse at Bromford.
