Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about College Arms
Substantial polygonal corner pub with quite an imposing mock-Tudor frontage. Unfortunately, the interior doesn't live up to the promise, with only one of the original bars seemingly in use. This one is now accessed by a side entrance and has had a rather unsympathetic refurbishment at some stage with dark green banquette seating and paintwork. Pool table and one TV but little else inside, although there is a rear beer garden for the better weather. No real ale either, so resorted to the John Smiths (which thankfully only set me back £2.10).
