The Actress & Bishop has a stool lined serving counter up the left-hand wall that faces high tables, and some sofa seating is found at the rear where there’s raised seating and a DJ/bingo calling booth, unfortunately my visit coincided with a Monday evening quiz. One of the three hand pumps was in use drawing Salopian’s Darmin’s Origin and Carling was available alongside premium and mainstream craft keg. There are better pubs a stone’s throw from here, so I’ll probably walk past next time I find myself in the area.

Smart bar just off St. Pauls square. We were the first customers in just after 12 - it is more of a night time place with regular live music etc.. Only Doom Bar on the beer front so we opted for a quick Madri and moved on.

No cask - some outdoor seating on the pavement. A downstairs modern bar, with some nice chesterfields. An upstairs rooms for bands.
