Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Rising Sun
Very basic pub, with a very sparse three-part interior comprising the central bar and pool table area, a small dining area (and dartboard!) to the left and what must be an events area to the right. No cask ale, and even the Worthington's was off, so made do with a Carling (at £3.00) to go with my simple meal.

A detached mainly undressed brick built pub with some white painted brick and a front facing central gable. It is in a bit of an industrial area.
The interior is an L-shaped room around the serving bar which is to the left when entering. The bar area runs along the serving bar and has a pool table. This part of the room is in cream with a red ceiling and blue covered seats. There is a TV at the end, which is above a brick fireplace which had a gas fire. Wimbledon was on the TV. There is a small foody table area in what was formerly the dart area - but now has a TV - also showing Wimbledon. This part is also in cream with a white and fake beam ceiling, red seats and a wood floor. There is an eclectic collection of pictures including drawings of the Last of the Summer Wine and Porridge characters. The place did currys, which were half price in the week - i didn't eat so can't comment on them. There was no music. The service was fine and the clientele all locals.
Beer; no real ale, keg stuff with an OK M&B MILD and Cobra lager.
One for the locals, nothing for the real ale enthusiast.
