Nick Davies left this review about The Stags Head
Traditional village local in nice thatched 17th century building, though it became a pub in 1830. Two rooms, a snug to the left as you enter and a large, stone flagged public bar ahead, furnished in modern country pub style. It looks like its been knocked around over the years, but fortunately the head office refurbishers have kept away. A friendly welcome and popular early evening, a good sign. Timothy Taylor Golden Best in excellent form.
Worth a visit.
