The Rose & Crown has a wooden floor throughout with a small carpeted seating area to the right. Seating runs up the left of the bar counter to create an L-shaped interior. Premium and craft keg was available and the three hand pumps were drawing Purity’s Ubu, Deuchars and Church Farm’s IPA. The service was polite and I don’t mind a bit of 90s music from the likes of Annie Lennox, but this place is very forgettable.

Nice looking pub which was busy when I called. I had a beer from the Green Duck brewery although the name of it escapes me! OK for one on a crawl.

Fairly drab pub. Modernised inside and an L-shaped interior. 3 handpulls dispensed an average lot of IPAs. Not cheap either. Like the Tilted Wig its probably best avoided.
