Unlike other pubs I tried in Leamington and Warwick, we're in sparkler territory in this Everards pub. A broad selection of the brewery's cask and keg range are offered; the cask I found to be of excellent quality.
The pub's child friendly, but without the running around and screaming you might get in some places.
Inside, The Wild Boar retains a traditional format with 3 rooms around the bar. It's obviously been modernised in terms of decor, so everything's clean and tidy. The brewery kit is visible through a window, though I think this has been decommissioned and the brewery is elsewhere in town nowadays.
A very reasonable place to wait for a train, with the station just a couple of minutes away.

A tremendous back street pub near the station with its own on-site brewery. Eight hand pumps with two or three of their own beers supplemented by regular Oakham Citra and guests from the likes of Leatherbritches. It's stripped back and plain but very friendly and welcoming. I went for Shattered from Leatherbritches, as it seemed to describe my physical state after walking around Warwick all day, and their own Saddleback which was also made with British hops. Two cracking beers (both NBSS 4) to round off a great day in Warwick.

The Wild Boar has a front bar area with serving counter that supports premium and craft keg. I also counted six hand pumps that were drawing Slaughterhouse’s Wild Boar, The Pod People and Alright, Alright, Alright!, Windmill Hill Brewing’s IPA and Pale as well as Oakham’s Citra. There were also four craft ales available, but I went for the Pod People which was enjoyable. Behind the bar is a tile floored seating area and the cheering, and happy birthday signs, led me to believe that there is a function room at the rear. There was some folky type music playing in the background. I liked it in here, one for a revisit.
