A welcoming town pub, basic and friendly, which does a lot of live music and open mic events, as described below. The open plan conjoined bars make for a comfortable drinking area, and the food – basic pizzas and burgers – was a reasonable price. There is also a breakfast menu some mornings. Bingo and karaoke are also regular events, but fortunately we were there at a quiet time, with only the TV showing live sports to provide a backdrop for the friendly chat with the barman and locals. Pool and darts were being played. Ales on were Purity Ubu, Wadworth’s 6X and Courage Best, plus there was a standard array of keg stuff. I’d be very happy to drop back in when in the area and I’d definitely include in a crawl.

Wilbrahams is a music pub, live music on Saturdays is advertised outside on an A-board. My visit was on a recent Thursday evening, which coincided with open mic night, which wasn’t very well attended. In fact it was just an old bloke with an electric guitar playing to his mates sat in the left hand side of the pub. In the right is more seating with televisions that were showing Premier League football and Premier League of Darts. At the rear is a pool table and dartboard and out the back is a beer garden with picnic tables.
The bar supports four handpumps that were drawing Ossett’s White Rat, Sharp’s Doom Bar, Brains Rev. James and Tim Taylors Knowle Spring. A premium and standard keg range is also available. I found the staff to be friendly and I actually liked this pub so would revisit if in the area again.

A bit of a hideous modern wine bar type thingy. Open plan with a very white interior. 2 real ales available and the place is just about acceptable. There are much better proper pubs in Nantwich to drink in.
