Much improved and the ale is well kept if limited in selection hooky bitter is a regular and sometimes purity. A well run pub on the up following poor management in the past.

There is a warm generous welcome in this pub with lots to do such as pool, darts and a quiz every Sunday from 9pm.
Two Real Ales - Green King IPA and Everards Tiger.
Boddingtons Smooth.
Carling plus other lagers.
Guiness.
There is also a B & B facility with a very generous Full English Breakfast.
Only snags when I was there was that only the bathroom light worked out of three.
Also the bathroom I had was very small and indeed there barely room in between the toilet and the wash sink.
Otherwise very good and only 15 minutes walk from Stratford racecourse making it an ideal overnight stop for horse racing fans.
