The Falcon Hotel is part of the Hotel Indigo chain and has a restaurant, lounge and bar as well as a few small tucked away seating areas. I was only really interested in the bar area of this sprawling hotel. The thick wooden bar counter is L-shaped and supports two hand pumps that were drawing Hook Norton Brewery’s Hooky and Off The Hook. The four keg fonts were pouring Freedom Helles and Pils alongside Sheppy’s Cider and Guinness. Opposite the bar is a large inglenook that faces six or so tables under the wooden beamed ceiling. For those like me who like to sit at the bar there are a few stools. The service was polite, but this is very much a hotel bar so I wouldn’t visit again unless staying in one of the rooms above.

Large hotel with a decent bar area. 2 Hook Norton beers on - Old Hooky and Off The Hook IPA. The IPA was fine if a little expensive!

The same two ales, since Soupy's visit - Purity and Ubu. Prices were on the steep side, no other drinkers in on our Sat afternoon visit.
