A friendly local boozer, the exterior is 1930's and distinctly art deco, inside has seen a significant refurb. although some time ago. The pub is split into two main rooms, large bar area with sky sports and a pool table tucked into a corner and an, also large and comfortable, lounge area. In addition there is a seperate and dedicated restaurant area as well as a large, attractive and well kept garden. Three real ales are on: Deuchars IPA, Brew XI and a well kept and very drinkable pint of Wadworth's 6X. Not an imaginative selection but the Bell is friendly and comfortable and does have at least one quaffable beer on.
