Alan Winfield left this review about The Gate Hangs Well
The Gate Hangs Well is at the eastern end of the village it is a smallish pub with ivy covering most of the right hand side of the pub.
Inside the pub has one room which is L shaped with the bar on the right there were 4 real ales on which were Marstons Pedigree this was quite a nice drink the other beers were Marstons Bitter,Bass and GK Abbot, there were cobs on the bar and also a help your self salad to have with your cob, most of the customers were elderly.
We thought this was a decent small locals pub.
