Strongers . left this review about Mulberry Bush Hotel
Set back from the road by a car park and a few picnic tables, the Mulberry Bush is an estate boozer under the gaze of a tower block opposite. A central bar serves a vault with a pool table and dartboard to the left and a larger lounge bar to the right where ten or so salt-of-the-earth locals had assembled. To the right of the bar counter is a large open plan area with banquette seating around the exterior walls. Some music equipment is found centrally on the front wall facing a laminate dance floor that is sandwiched to the left and right by carpet. The 80s background music during my recent Monday evening visit was courtesy of Amazon music. The service was polite and one of the locals, who had M A C C T O W N tattooed across his knuckles, let me dive in front whilst he looked for some change. However, there were a couple of people in that I didn’t get a very good vibe off, so as a non-local I’ll not be visiting this pub again.
