Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Newdigate Arms
Although in a housing estate, this looks and feels more like the usual edge-of-town family pub / restaurant. Comprises a plain public bar and much larger multi-space dining area to one side and extending back some way. Semi-modern furniture and decor throughout. Large front patio beer garden . Old Speckled Hen (£3.80) available on handpump. Very busy on a Wednesday evening, with efficient and friendly staff.
